My name is Jason Ryan and I am a Canadian EFL/ESL instructor and teacher trainer. After living and teaching in South Korea from March, 2005 to August, 2010 I decided to move to Hunan, China and return to teaching English at a national university. I love taking pictures with my Canon 400D (Digital Kiss X), and also enjoy blogging about teaching English and living overseas.

How are you doing? Haven’t seen any blog activity in some time. Hope all is well.
Things are good….insanely busy but good for the most part–better than in China that’s for damn sure.
I’m blogging now and again at http://jasonontherak.wordpress.com/
Gotta run and do some lesson planning for tomorrow….how’re things with you?
I hope you are doing okay over there as I haven’t seen any new posts in quite some time and Mad Ramblings seems to be now defunct.
Hi John,
Everything’s ‘okay’…..some busy and stressful crap going on. Mad Ramblings disappeared while I was too busy to blog and I was unable to answer your comment….
I’ve sent 3 emails now asking why they suspended the other blog….no response so far. This is pissing me off cause I PAID for that blog….
Are you on facebook? Send me an email at iftcjason@gmail.com and I’ll add you as a friend.
J
Hi there
I just wanted to sincerely thank you for this blog. I plan to teach at the same university as you this year, and the information you have provided about Changsha has been invaluable.
Cheers
JJ
Hi, Sorry for not replying sooner. I don’t update this blog or write on it anymore so I only check it sporadically.
Hope you like life in Changsha. Good luck at the university.
Looks like you’re back in Korea. Interesting.
