Chinese scooters . . . oh god, where do I begin?
This guy is a MILD example of bad scooter driving. I’ve seen scooters drive across four lanes of rush hour traffic in a straight line, stopping and starting (again like in Frogger), swerving and veering . . . all the while the four lanes of oncoming traffic also lay on the brakes, swerve and veer, and honk and honk and HONK!
It gets better than that though . . . I’ve seen, and not just once either, scooters drive into four lanes of oncoming traffic on a DIAGONAL . . . yes, because driving straight across horizontally would not take them directly to where they are trying to go so instead the diagonal route through ONCOMING traffic . . . across FOUR LANES . . . yes, that’s the best route!
I’m hoping I can capture something like this before I leave China cause words do NOT articulate what it’s like to see in person.
